What is
DVO (EU) 2019/1583?
Regulation 300/2008 forms the basis for security regulations of the European Union (EU). Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/1998 describes detailed aviation security measures. This was amended and specified on 25 September 2019 by Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1583. It lays down more detailed measures for the implementation of common basic standards for aviation security with regard to cyber security measures.

- Service providers with access to security-relevant IT/OT systems

Cyber security training courses
according to DVO 2019/1583
The DVO (EU) 2019/1583 obliges air carriers to regularly train their employees in the area of cyber security - specified, among other things, in BMI version 12/21 (and simplified in the current version 11/23)
As part of the Joint.Cyberskills initiative, HvS and the Munich Airport Academy have jointly created a training program for all relevant target groups:
- Contents correspond to current requirements of authorities.
- HvS-Consulting is the leading cyber security specialist and e-learning provider for the aviation industry.
- The Munich Airport Academy offers a platform for training and has ensured that all content meets the requirements of authorities and regulation.

All training content has been presented to the German Aviation Industry Association (BDL) and the German Airports Association (ADV) including numerous safety managers and representatives of these authorities and optimized through feedback.
E-Learning: Cyber security for DVO 2019/1583
This training is aimed at all employees and fully meets the requirements of DVO (EU) 2019/1583 for this group. It is available as a general ADV / BDL version or can be easily adapted to the layout and processes of your company.

Cyber LABs for IT professionals
These e-learning courses are aimed specifically at administrators and developers and include a virtual LAB environment in which participants can apply the cyber security knowledge they have acquired directly in a live scenario. The courses meet the requirements of DVO (EU) 2019/1583 for this specific target group.

- Duration: 3 to 4 hours of e-learning,
- Languages: German and English
- Delivery:
- Including a virtual LAB environment to take on the attacker's perspective and put what has been learned into practice.
- Complete cloud service including learning management system and LAB environment.
- With final test and certificate (certificate is generated from the system after a successful final test and can be saved by the participant as a PDF. The customer administrator can view participation rates at any time and export statistics as an Excel file).
